Miss Lucy Havens requests the pleasure of your company…
Recording group for the first phase of a new CD at historic Glen Iris (c. 1892). The first phase comprises a variety of pieces and songs from Sydney Living Museums’ sheet music collection/Lucy Havens portfolio along with a handful of timeless songs and dances from a found copy of The Gaelic Old Smugglers Hotch Potch of Scotch tunes, 6th ed. 1911.
The second phase sees Tara Hashambhoy and Diana Weston at St John’s College, Sydney University recording Pleyel Sonatas on the 1826 Broadwood square piano, fitting squarely into the time of Pleyel (and Miss Lucy Havens)
