What my mother told me

What my mother told me

2015 year marks the 200th year of Bathurst’s birth as an inland settlement. We are delighted to be taking part in their birthday celebrations – a Festival of concerts and events throughout April. For a festival all about families and friends we have chosen a program of intimate music – some of it serious and reflective but mostly just plain good fun. Included are Folksongs by Ann Carr-Boyd and Elena Kats-Chernin and Vivaldi’s cello sonatas. With Rita Woolhouse (cello) and Diana Weston (harpsichord) and a little bit of help from Bathurst’s own resident singer Narelle Hissey. This program is repeated with some modifications at the Australian High Court, Canberra.
