Thoroughbass is delighted to appear regularly in the Lunch-time Concert Series run by organist Allan Beavis for St Jude’s Anglican Church, Bowral. The weekly concerts provide a steady fodder of low-cost, high quality music, as well as providing performance opportunities for many an up-and-coming musician. The church houses a new Kawai grand piano, an organ from St James, King St, and a harpsichord, all available free of charge. Anyone can step into the quiet sanctuary that is St Jude’s on a Wednesday and enjoy the solace of live music thanks to Allan and the people of St Jude’s. Lunch-time concerts are 40 minutes in length and start at 1.15 pm.
